Our Partner Schools

Teach Learn Grow is a non-profit organisation dedicated to supporting Australian children experiencing disadvantage, and working towards an Australia where every child is empowered to reach their full potential. We do this through providing free one-on-one tutoring and mentoring through our Rural Program and eMentor Programs.

In both programs the timetable is flexible and we do our best to work around your school's schedule. While the programs are provided entirely cost free to the school and students, schools are welcome to opt to fund the program or find sponsorship partners.

We approach schools after careful consideration of a number of factors such as ICSEA (Index of Community Socio-Educational Advantage) score, attendance rates, level of remoteness, referrals from education officials and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander student percentage.

"We are delighted to have TLG work with our school. It is the positive and caring relationships that the volunteers build with the students that is of the utmost importance. From there, the students have the trust and confidence to take risks with learning. The program is both educational and entertaining for the students and they love having TLG come." - Catherine Jones, Cue Primary School Principal

"Our students loved the one-one-one nature of the TLG program, it allowed them to build a trust relationship with the volunteers which saw them engage to their full potential. Thank you for coming out to East Kalgoorlie Primary School!" - Kate Lavery, East Kalgoorlie Primary School Teacher

"Having been the parent of a child who has received the TLG program, every year he just prays that he is chosen to be a part of the group. The fact that the volunteers put the time and effort in to make a personal connection on a one on one level I think is more powerful then people realise. - Peta Newbound, Avonvale Primary School Deputy Principal
